This Rental Agreement is between Lightning Dumpster Rental Inc ("Company," "we," "us") and the person or entity renting the dumpster ("Customer," "you"). Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms. The Customer must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to rent equipment for the delivery address.
The base rental price covers a standard rental period and an included weight allowance, as quoted at the time of booking. Pricing is transparent and disclosed before checkout. Extra rental days, overage weight, trip charges, and additional services may incur additional fees as quoted. Quoted prices are subject to change for orders not yet confirmed.
We make reasonable efforts to deliver and pick up on the scheduled date; same-day delivery is available in many areas but is not guaranteed. The Customer is responsible for providing safe, clear, and legal access to the placement location. The Customer authorizes the Company to place the dumpster at the agreed location and to enter the property for delivery, service, and pickup.
The Customer is responsible for any permits required for placement on public streets or right-of-way. The Customer assumes responsibility for any damage to driveways, pavement, lawns, curbs, sidewalks, or underground/overhead utilities resulting from placement at the Customer's requested location. We recommend protective boards under the dumpster; the Company is not liable for surface damage caused by the weight or placement of the equipment.
Dumpsters are for approved debris only. The following are prohibited and may result in additional fees, fines, or refusal of service:
Contact us before disposing of any questionable material. The Customer is responsible for additional charges and any fines resulting from prohibited materials.
Each dumpster size includes a weight allowance. Loads exceeding the included allowance are billed at the per-ton overage rate disclosed at booking. Material must be level with the top of the container — overfilled dumpsters cannot be legally or safely hauled and may be subject to a re-load or return-trip fee.
The Customer is responsible for the dumpster while in their possession and for any loss or damage to the equipment beyond normal use, including from fire, misuse, or unauthorized movement. Do not move, overload, or place fill above the rated capacity.
Payment is due as specified at booking. Cancellations and reschedules should be made as early as possible; cancellation or trip fees may apply once a dumpster is en route or delivered. Returned payments may incur additional charges.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including project delays. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising out of the Customer's use of the equipment or breach of this agreement.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
